What is the reason of deducting shift allowance if not availed cab?(India)

Per updated process Work From Home (WFH) option will be visible and if telecommuting (TC request) entries have been filled by you for entire shift duration then system will allow RM to click on WFH option. Only shift allowance will be paid out and cab amount will be deducted. If your shift allowance is ₹250 per day and if WFH option is selected while assigning shift, then system will deduct ₹150 for cab (₹75 for each cab pick-up and drop) and remaining ₹100 will be paid as shift allowance.
